      Ari Ross graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in June 2017, earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a double major in Economics and a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications.

      Currently, Ross is the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y., helping promote the Yellowjackets' 23 NCAA Division III athletic teams.

            Prior to joining the Yellowjackets, Ross served as the Director of Sports Information at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, serving as the primary athletic communications contact for the Terriers' 17 NCAA DIII teams.

      Ross began his career in Athletic Communications at Monroe College in New Rochelle and the Bronx, N.Y., serving as the Assistant Sports Information Director/PBP Broadcaster for the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA DI), before being promoted to the Sports Information Director for the Monroe Express (NJCAA DIII).

      Previously, Ross spent a summer in Sioux Falls, S.D. as the Broadcast/Media Relations Assistant for the Sioux Falls Canaries of the American Association.

      Ari began his career in sports journalism in Jan. 2017 with Sports Illustrated in New York City as part of his journalism residency through the Medill School of Journalism, spending three months as a reporting intern for the magazine.
